It's been quite some time since I've seen or spoken with some of my colleagues and friends from FreedomLab. I've been feeling a strong urge to reconnect with them, not just because of nostalgia, but because we share so many experiences, our collaborations have always been enjoyable and inspiring, we complement each other so well, and we share this unique passion for our work.
As we embark on this new adventure, I decided to start with an extensive check-in. So, I organized a series of long walks (my feet are still aching!) with the purpose of exploring and articulating what we truly want for the coming years. It's not about just continuing on autopilot, but about living and working with real intention. Dialogue walks; a great check-in
During these walks, we delved deep into our thoughts and feelings. We discussed what we want to keep in our lives, what needs to go, our dreams, and the necessities. It was essentially a dialogue walk with a hefty dose of WhyDoYouDoWhatYouDo. Somehow walking next to each other, talking ánd listening without looking each other in they eye is a fantastic way to discover some deeper why's.
What struck me most is how these conversations have already started influencing our decision-making. We keep referring back to these initial walks when faced with choices, big or small. It's as if these walks have become a touchstone for us, guiding our path forward. Intentional living and working
I'm grateful for these friends and colleagues. Despite the time apart, our connection remains strong, and our shared vision for the future ánd society is invigorating. These walks have reinforced for me the importance of intentional living and working, and I'm excited to see how this renewed focus will shape our future endeavors.
Here's to new beginnings, meaningful work, and the power of deep, intentional conversations with like-minded souls.
