Today I want to share Jörgen's latest experiment. It's fascinating how we keep pushing the boundaries of our testing methods. We are all in!
Would this work online?
Jörgen decided to take a completely different approach this time. Instead of running through the entire process, he chose to focus on just one element - a single challenge. What's more interesting is that he didn't use a physical space or even our planned box setup. He opted for a much more constrained environment: Zoom.
Extreme situations, extreme constraints: Zooming in
Why? Business wise we could argue that it makes us more resilient (we are living in the Corona aftermath) or it could scale better... but conceptually also because you learn sometimes better in extreme situations or with a lot of crazy constraints. It challenges your limiting beliefs.
He had a session scheduled and decided to use it as an opportunity to test one component of the Paper-plane challenge. His main focus was on the instructions - what to say, how participants react, and what can be learned from their results. But there's more to it than just gathering data. We're increasingly realizing that this should really be about self-assessment for the participants.

The beauty of Jörgen's approach is its simplicity and adaptability. By testing in such a limited environment, we might uncover insights. It's a reminder that sometimes, less is more when it comes to experimentation. Oh, and Jörgen conducted some mini-user tests, literally at home with the kids. It's so like him to turn every moment into a learning opportunity. I wonder what insights he'll gain from those impromptu sessions.
This whole process is making me reflect on our journey. We're constantly evolving, adapting, and finding new ways to improve our methods. I'm looking forward to hearing about the results of Jörgen's Zoom experiment. Who knows? This could be the beginning of a whole new direction for our work.
