In the recent weeks, we've engaged in several fascinating conversations that have brought us back to a fundamental principle: Let the world be your classroom. This idea has led us to explore the concept of an "Open Learning Landscape" - a space where professionals can access both the tools and inspiration needed to anticipate future developments and drive positive change.

What exactly is our role in this landscape? The hallmark of most 21st-century skills is the ability to learn quickly as a team, cope with uncertainties, and constantly challenge ourselves to shift perspectives. It's about viewing the landscape with fresh eyes. Only then can we recognize underlying patterns and make a real difference. This is our core belief. This means that we can't provide too much structure or authority or affirmation. The learning of 21st century skills is about reflecting on ones own behavior, habits and intrinsic motivation.

After this round of discussions, we've gained clarity on the position we want to occupy. We're not aiming to be gurus, consultants, agencies, magazines, or know-it-alls. Instead, we see ourselves more as guides or coaches. The original concept of a "Skout" is closer to our vision. For now, we've established that we are the challengers - challengers of the status quo, challengers of the open mind, challengers who demonstrate that things can be done differently.
