I have been working with Jefta for a long, long time. The great thing is that I have helped him in his leap towards entrepreneurship. And in the process I have tried to make his talent and knowhow more explicit. Yes he is a great visual artist but he is much much more. He can bring the most complex things back to a mature simplicity. BAM!

Magic to Method Working with Jefta I observed that he is using some techniques he is not even aware of. By making this more explicit, Jefta can turn his talent from magic to method and it will help him to grow as a facilitator ánd he can turn this into training-courses.

For the 21 images we are going to create together we will be using one of these techniques, the 9 field technique. You can just fold a piece of paper into 9 squares and each square resembles a specific aspect of the theme you are working on.

Finding the super structure The future or results are to the right, the resources to the left, the pragmatic at the bottom, the conceptual at the top... and yes in the middle is the essence. I'm using this tool to map my own 9 field visuals so I can brief Jefta. To my experience I work outside in.. so while drawing, I am starting to see the super-structure of this visual en this is how I can create a great story as well as distill the essence of it all.
