Our more modular approach works very well with clients, but it's still too complex for a quick 15-minute chat. We need a simpler entry point for a quick scan - a qualitative assessment we can do together swiftly.
I'm experimenting with a new spider model This spider graph has 7 axes representing Organizational Design aspects, each divided into 3 levels of change. Each axis has 9 points for easy scoring. In a single conversation, we can explore current status, strengths, and areas for improvement
Mapping the learning zone to become more Futures Ready To find a potential learning-zone I'm looking for a 'gap'. I therefore often ask two different questions: "What are you already doing?" and "What do you want to do?" This reveals the gap between vision and practice in many organizations. For example, sometimes Agile is practiced on the ground but not part of the board's vision, or sustainability is talked about without clear implementation. These gaps present opportunities to enhance change potential.
The graph can be a quick-scan in 10 minutes or a summary of 100 measure points Interestingly, filling out the underlying cards (21x5) and scoring them 1-5 based on the Rubric allows for a more detailed spider graph. This could serve as both an entry point and a summary.
Ans thus dreaming out loud... could this potentially become the foundation for a chatbot on our website, helping users find the right work models or courses?
