We are reflecting on the concept of "Next Practice," a term I learned from the late C.K. Prahalad, author of "The Bottom of the Pyramid." It's a powerful idea that challenges the notion of "best practices" in consulting, which Prahalad argued were leading to mediocrity and complacency.

From Best practice to Next practice?

The term Next Practices resonates deeply with me, encouraging us to push beyond the status quo and seek innovative solutions. However, I've noticed that it often falls on deaf ears. It's frustrating when a concept you find so inspiring doesn't seem to connect with others.

"Smart Strategic Moves" In light of this, we have decided to rename this part of our approach. What we're offering isn't a full business case study like Harvard's, but rather a spotlight on specific, impactful strategic made within a pioneering organizations. These are the choices that truly made a difference - the "Smart Strategic Moves."

From now on, I'll be referring to the inspirational aspects of our work as "Smart Moves." It feels more accessible and accurately describes what we're showcasing: wisdom in action, decisions that drive change and success. I hope this new framing will help others grasp the essence of what we're trying to achieve.
